If a student is accepted and after a few months wants to return?

The Israeli committee makes great efforts to select candidates who it believes will be able to meet the challenges posed by the colleges (living away from the family, high level of education, independence, etc.), contribute to the college study experiences and especially to contribute and learn from the experience. Very few applicants are accepted each year to study at a UWC college out of the hundreds of applications the national committee receives every year, and the price of the scholarship provided to them is high. A student leaving their college hurts both his college class and the Israeli committee and its ability to receive additional scholarships in years to come. It is important for the college and the Israeli committee, with the help of the student's parents, to do everything possible so that the students sent to the college will meet all their tasks and that their experience will be extremely positive.
It is clear to us, however, that the framework is not suitable for everyone, and that it is not possible to know until arriving at the college how the student will cope with the experience. Therefore, the Israeli committee does its best to help the students continue their studies, but in exceptional cases when the student wants to return to Israel in the middle of college, the committee doesn't force him to stay.

Is there a relationship between alumni in Israel and the students?

The Israel Alumni Committee is in constant contact with the students in the various colleges, and assists as much as possible in any subject. Additionally, the national committee is in constant contact with the college staff and is updated on how the students sent from Israel are doing.
